Microneedling with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

How Microneedling with PRP Works

Microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) involves the addition of platelet-rich plasma after a microneedling treatment is performed.

Your blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge that separates your red blood cells from the nutrient rich section of your blood (plasma). Your plasma is then applied to the face during your treatment.

Benefits of Microneedling with PRP

Microneedling with PRP helps generate new collagen and results in smoother, firmer and more even-toned skin. It also improves the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, texture and pore size.

When can Microneedling with PRP Occur

Microneedling is generally performed as a series of 4-6 treatments done every 4-5 weeks for optimal results. Patients will experience 1-3 days of downtime with redness and possible light bruising/swelling.
